A Legacy of Success

2017 was one of the most successful years in men’s freestyle history. Team USA brought home our first senior level World Championship since 1995. Our Junior men’s team also brought home gold, while our Cadets earned silver.

The Senior World Title was a true team effort, as six of eight wrestlers won medals. Led by Kyle Snyder and Jordan Burroughs both taking gold, James Green and Thomas Gilman earning silver, and J’den Cox and Nick Gwiazdowski winning bronze.

Head coach, Bill Zadick, was named Olympic Coach of the Year, while Kyle Snyder earned the honor of Male Olympic Athlete of the Year.

While winning a World Championship is a huge success, we cannot spend too long celebrating. Being on top puts a target on our back, and our rivals across the globe our training hard to knock us off. Help Team USA stay on top. Donate to the men’s freestyle program today!
